Doctor Who: Partners in Crime

Dr Who returns for what will no doubt be a triumphant fourth series. Tennant and Tate seemed to be shot in a golden light, reflecting perhaps the love and esteem in which Russell T Davies and the rest of the country holds them. Whether Tate will find the same place in the nation’s hearts that Billie Piper did remains to be seen, how funny it is that Martha (the sidekick that came between them), is already such a distant memory. As you know if you’ve read my column in Time Out, I would much rather have another assistant. Let the viewers decide. P.S Shame those little Adiposian babies didn’t get to use their fangs.

Total agreement. My daughter and I took a couple of weekends and watched the entire three series back to back, loving every episode, EXCEPT the Runaway Bride. Her fingernails-on-a-blackboard screeching made us cheer with relief when she turned the Doctor down!

We want to be excited about the new series, but she left us with such a visceral dislike for the character, we just can’t get enthused. Very much hoping Russell T. proves us wrong.

The new series rocks! it is sad that David T. has to leave the show but I am also excited with the new Doctor. Who ever his partner is or who ever plays the Doctor, i still love the show!
