First there was Speechification, which is a lot of excellent speech radio from around the world wrapped up in a podcast. Now there’s Watchification. We’re selecting the really good stuff from the BBC iPlayer, from the shows that appear on YouTube and - you never know - maybe some other TV too. We’ve rounded up over a dozen interesting people to make the selections and we’re always very keen to hear your suggestions for good stuff that we might have missed. As they say, watch this space.

Just watched this again over breakfast with my bitch and my… er… kids. What was fascinating was the build-up he got from practically everyone in the days beforehand: DJs, artists, journos – everyone really wanted it to be OK. As if everyone was terrified that the field would empty or people would boo or something and what that would say about Brits and the festival crowd and white people and indie kids and all the rest. It was like a test. The relief that it all went well was palpable…
Wiley and Hot Chip at the beginning is also rocking.
