Jay-Z going down in Glastonbury history last night. The thought of it’s still making my skin tingle.

Cut to 29.25 if you want pure Jigga (although Dizzee Rascal with Calvin Harris at 13.30 is worth a look too).

    Just watched this again over breakfast with my bitch and my… er… kids. What was fascinating was the build-up he got from practically everyone in the days beforehand: DJs, artists, journos – everyone really wanted it to be OK. As if everyone was terrified that the field would empty or people would boo or something and what that would say about Brits and the festival crowd and white people and indie kids and all the rest. It was like a test. The relief that it all went well was palpable…
