As an ex teacher in a deprived area I thought this programme emphasised the need for a lot of those children not to be absorbed into secondary education at 11 or 12 but to somehow continue in their familiar small secure school until at least 14. Watch for programme on Nurture on Channel 4 Jan 5.</description>
